RESPONSIBILITY
Requirements involve commitment to implement & accountability.
This presupposes management’s commitment towards its HSE charter strategy, decisions, organisations, competences, action plans, monitoring & checking…
In its approach to continuously enhance safety, together with working and environmental conditions, DE SANGOSSE is formalising its HSE policy with a view to ISO 14001 certification and ensuring compliancy for its various sites.
DE SANGOSSE is currently committed to acquiring new expertise during the second phase of its 14001 project after certification of the Mettray site, with the major priority being to implement a health, safety & environment management system covering all sites.
- Compliancy
- Risk-prevention
- Continuous enhancement
- Anticipation of regulations to control and schedule HSE costs.
The six Integrated Management System principles must be understood in a systemic context, which is not based on a linear or chronological conception since each action carried out leads to a series of new actions and so on (Deming principle).
The first 4 principles focus on the "NO ACCIDENT" objective
- Responsibility (responsibility for obligations, rectification and repression)
- Scheduling (planning and programming operational means)
- Prevention (avoiding impacts)
- Limitation (restricting impacts)
The final 2 principles are triggered in the event of failure.
- Rectification (repairing)
- Repression (state legal action)
